Bank syndicate refis Brazilian hotels

A three-bank syndicate comprised of Crédit Agricole CIB, HSBC Bank Bermuda and Barclays Corporate have refinanced two Brazilian Hotels owned by Orient-Express Hotels with $115m.

The three-year debt facility, secured by the Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro and Hotel das Cataratas in Iguassu Falls, replaces an $88m facility with Credit Agricole and Barclays Corporate, due to expire in October 2012.
