Global industrial property specialist Prologis has signed international logistics firm DHL to a big-box facility at its Daventry scheme.

The shipping group, which has signed a 10-year deal, will use Prologis Apex Park DC3, a 156,995-square-foot warehouse, to service a contract for tyre production company Bridgestone. Market sources told CoStar News that DHL is paying a rent of around £9.25 per square foot, with a break at five years.

It follows a comprehensive refurbishment to install fully electric offices totalling around 8,000 square feet, solar PV and EV charging stations. The scheme has 26 dock doors, three level access floors and 28 HGV parking spaces, and is targeting EPC A.

Apex Park is 1.5 miles north of Daventry town centre and next to the A45 with access to the M1, M40 and M45 motorways via the A45 and A361. Other occupiers at the scheme include South Korean tyre company Hankook, CEVA Logistics and US diesel engine firm Cummins.

Prologis declined to comment, while DHL was approached for comment. CBRE, Knight Frank and ILP Partners are joint leasing agents at the scheme.
