The Montgomery County Economic Development Corp. has named Benjamin H. Wu, a long-serving economic development official who has held numerous positions at the state and federal level, as its new CEO. He will take the top job at the county’s public-private economic development organization effective Dec. 18, succeeding David Petr, who left the position in September.
