Knight Frank has announced a series of senior promotions and appointments in a newly bolstered and combined UK occupier strategy and solutions team.

Richard Proctor, partner, has been appointed head of UK occupier strategy and solutions, bringing together the firm’s occupier-facing services, including business rates, data centres, flexible office solutions, tenant representation, project management, workplace and strategic consultancy, across its UK network.

With 27 years tenant representation and office agency experience, Proctor remains head of London tenant representation. His expanded role will see him focus on the team’s growth across the UK, collaborating with the firm’s 11 commercial offices outside of London. He will be supported by Julian Woolgar, who brings 28 years of tenant representation and office agency experience and 18 years at Knight Frank to the UK team.

Amanda Lim, partner and UK head of flexible offices, will be rolling out Knight Frank’s flexible office solutions London business across the UK, offering occupiers alternative solutions to conventional office space with a focus on the firm’s 10 city locations beyond London.

Lim will continue her collaboration with James Nicholson, partner, who has been promoted to head of operations for UK occupier strategy and solutions. Nicholson will continue to expand Knight Frank’s occupier digital platform and co-ordinate the growth of existing occupier relationships across the UK. Nicholson is also a member of Knight Frank’s technology board, which is developing systems focused on the client experience across its UK occupier strategy and solutions business.

The London tenant representation team has also made two partner appointments. Sean Fraser, previously an associate director at CBRE in Hong Kong, where he specialised in transaction management for office occupiers across the Asia-Pacific region, has re-joined Knight Frank, having worked at the firm’s Sydney office for four years between 2017-2021 in its tenant representation team. Inesha Holt joined Knight Frank in late 2022, bringing 15 years’ business development experience in workplace solutions, including most recently at Woodhouse Workspace, where she was a business development director.

The London tenant representation team has 22 permanent team members. KF said it advised on three of the five largest leasing transactions in London in the second quarter 2023.

The UK occupier strategy and solutions team has 126 people based in 12 cities across the UK, delivering 17 different occupier-focused services from automotive to workplace consultancy.

Richard Proctor, head of UK occupier strategy and solutions at Knight Frank, said in a statement: “We are bringing together our experienced occupier advisory teams from across the UK to offer our clients truly integrated solutions, from forward-looking strategic and workplace consultancy, in what is an ever changing occupier world, to business critical energy and sustainability consultancy for all our clients, whether they be automotive, data centre, office, industrial, life sciences, leisure or retail occupiers."

Lee Elliott and his Occupier Research team will continue to deliver the flagship (Y)OUR SPACE report.
