John Cantrell joined Stream Realty Partners as vice president of workplace strategy, in a move the commercial real estate services firm says is designed to boost its national office occupier services platform. In his new role, Cantrell will lead development and delivery of workplace strategies throughout the real estate lifecycle, combining qualitative insights, Stream said.
Based in Atlanta, Cantrell will work with clients nationwide, offering workplace strategy services that integrate with Stream’s tenant representation platform, the firm said. He'll work alongside Craig Wilson and Greg Katz, Stream’s national office occupier services co-heads. He joined the firm from Gensler and has worked on a range of projects from boutique offices to large corporate campuses. He brings over 20 years of experience to his new position.
Colin Rininger joined JLL’s growing Project Development Services team in Raleigh, North Carolina. Recent additions to the team include Vice Presidents Ariel Kocourek, Justin Bagby and Jose Somarriba, and project manager Kimberly Clancy. In his new role, Rininger will focus on chasing new healthcare opportunities and revenue in the market, JLL said. Throughout his career, Rininger has overseen 1 million square feet of projects. He joined JLL from Signet Real Estate Group in Cleveland.
Madison Communities, a subsidiary of Madison Capital Group, added Gil Gonzalez and Andrew Butcher as executive managing directors. The two will help drive the Charlotte, North Carolina-based firm’s national expansion. Madison said Gonzalez will lead multifamily development and investment activity throughout the West and Mountain States, and Butcher will lead development across Georgia and Tennessee. Gonzalez joined the firm from Ryan Cos., while Butcher made the move from Two Capital Partners.
Odyssey Retail Advisors added Juliana Freeman and Elizabeth Walsh as retail analysts and Gabriela Moniz as retail coordinator to support the firm’s Canadian team. Freeman will support the broader team with client presentations, market research, business development and day-to-day execution, and Walsh will support the firm’s tenant and landlord advisory platforms, Odyssey said.
Moniz worked in project management across multiple industries before transitioning into retail leasing with Morguard. A licensed real estate professional in Ontario, she will work alongside Odyssey’s Canadian team as the firm continues to expand in that country.
San Antonio, Texas-based Embrey promoted Casey Klein to senior vice president of development. In his new role, he leads the company's development efforts across the Denver, Phoenix and Austin, Texas, markets, where he'll oversee all phases of the development process, including site acquisition, due diligence, entitlements and design, Embrey said.
He originally joined Embrey, a real estate investment company that develops, builds, owns and manages multifamily complexes and commercial assets across the U.S., in 2021.
