New York Firm Pays $154 Million to CBRE Global Investors for Recently Renovated, 510-Room Hotel

Carey Watermark Investors (CWI 2), a New York City-based non-traded real estate investment trust (REIT) focused on investing in lodging and lodging-related properties, boosted its West Coast holdings with the firm's purchase of the San Jose Marriott in downtown San Jose from CBRE Global Investors for $154 million, or about $302,000 per key.
