New Market Properties, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Atlanta-based Preferred Apartment Communities Inc. (NYSE: APTS), acquired six grocery-anchored shopping centers across Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina from Oak Brook, IL-based InvenTrust Properties Corp. for a total consideration of $68.7 million.
