Local employment totals increased for the second consecutive month in February, according to the latest data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Compared to pre-pandemic levels, total employment in Louisville, Kentucky, sits about 1.1% above February 2020 numbers. This is a modest increase relative to the national average of 2% and peer markets such as Indianapolis and Cincinnati, where job gains are above 2%.
