Hoffman-Madison Waterfront, the development team behind the $2.5 billion The Wharf development in southwest Washington, D.C., secured an $800 million refinancing loan from a Wells Fargo-led group that includes Morgan Stanley, Blackstone and others, to pay off existing loans and finance the next phase of development.
