Dexcom, a maker of glucose monitoring devices used to manage diabetes, is cutting more than 500 jobs as it moves its manufacturing operations to Arizona while keeping its headquarters in San Diego. It is the latest industry action this year affecting real estate demand in the nation’s third-largest hub for biotech research and development.
