Stream Realty Partners hired Shawn Kimble as an executive managing director and part of the firm’s investment management team. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, he will help lead capital formation, investment strategy, new product development and the continued growth of Stream's investment management business alongside Chief Investment Officer Adam Jackson, the firm said.
Kimble brings nearly two decades of institutional real estate investment experience spanning capital markets, investments, strategy and platform leadership. He joined Stream from Barings, where he most recently served as head of U.S. and European capital markets and strategy for the group’s global real estate platform. He also served as Barings' chief operating officer for U.S. real estate. Kimble began his career as a member of Wells Fargo’s Real Estate Capital Markets Group.
CBRE boosted its mid-Atlantic leadership team with the addition of Chris Poppell as managing director and investor services leader and Dawson Rinder as managing director and Maryland market leader. Poppell will help grow the firm’s investor services business across the region, CBRE said. He most recently worked at George Washington University, where he served as the school’s director of investment real estate.
Rinder, who joined from Marcus & Millichap, will oversee business operations and growth strategy across CBRE’s Maryland business, the commercial real estate services company said.
JLL appointed Jamie Fitzgerald as a senior director and financial services consulting lead at its Americas consulting business. In her new role, she will be responsible for driving growth across banking, investment management, fintech and insurance accounts, JLL said. She will also work alongside the firm’s financial services leadership team to deliver real estate solutions and balance risk in changing markets on behalf of JLL’s clients, the firm said. Fitzgerald brings over 20 years of experience to the position. Fitzgerald, who worked at JLL from 2011 to 2021, rejoined JLL in 2025 after having served as a vice president at UnitedHealth Group.
The Commercial Real Estate Finance Council appointed Paul Vanderslice as the organization’s president and CEO. He will lead CREFC’s efforts to promote liquidity, transparency and efficiency in the commercial real estate finance market, and provide market intelligence, education and industry standards. With over three decades of experience, Vanderslice joined the council from BMO Capital Markets, where he served as the head of CMBS.
Multifamily developer and owner-operator NRP Group appointed Andrew Bailey as vice president of development across the firm’s Ohio and Midwest market. Bringing nearly two decades of experience, Bailey will advance deal origination, site acquisition and public-private partnerships, the Cleveland-based firm said. Joining NRP from CHN Housing Partners, Bailey reports to and works alongside Aaron Pechota, executive vice president of development.
Tim Anderson joined TGM as managing director of capital formation and investor relations. He brings over 25 years of experience to the position, where he will lead its institutional business development and capital formation initiatives, the vertically integrated real estate investment manager said. Prior to joining TGM, Anderson held senior roles at several firms including Stark Investments, Trian Credit Partners, 3i Capital, Macquarie, One William Street Capital Management and Marquee Capital.
HPM, a Birmingham, Alabama-based planning, design and construction firm, launched an engineering practice and appointed Cameron Thorne to lead the division as director of engineering. In his new role, he oversees the firm's civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines. Thorne, who has over 18 years of experience, joined HPM from Engineering Group of the Southeast.
