Chambers Street and Gramercy Property Trust to Merge

Combined Company Will Have Enterprise Value of $5.7 Billion, Creating Larger, More Diversified Portfolio with Increased Financial Strength

After deciding to do so, it took only three weeks for Chambers Street Properties, the $3.3 billion real estate investment trust formerly known as CB Richard Ellis Realty Trust, to decide on new strategic option. The Princeton, New Jersey-based REIT has agreed to merge with Gramercy Property Trust Inc. creating the largest industrial and office net lease real estate investment trust with an expected enterprise value of $5.7 billion.
