A week after Los Angeles-based Turner Impact Capital confirmed plans to acquire and manage up to $1 billion in affordable urban apartment communities nationwide through the launch of its Turner Multifamily Impact Fund, the firm got the ball rolling with the purchase of Regency Pointe Apts. in suburban Washington, D.C. for $56 million, or approximately $93,000 per unit.
