The Women’s Super League Football has signed for managed offices at one of MetSpace's Clerkenwell sites as the game's top European competition kicks off today.

Its move marks the league's first dedicated office since becoming independent last year, with “excellent transport links” essential to its hunt, according to the host.

It is understood that the organisation has taken 2,500 square feet at 2 Woodridge Street, north of Farringdon station.

The WSL, which previously operated out of offices at Wembley Stadium, is made up of 12 clubs and will expand to 14 teams for the 2026-27 season following approval from the Football Association board last month.

Euro 2025 begins today with the England national team looking to retain its title, after beating Germany in the final in 2022.

"After researching our options and consulting with our agents, we realised a managed space would be the best fit for our needs,” Georgie Acons, head of business management at WSL Football, said in a statement. "This is our first office since setting up as an independent company and marks a significant step in our journey."

Ashley Diamond, chief operating officer at MetSpace, added: "We were pleased to support Women’s Super League Football at such a key moment in their growth.

"The top flight of women’s football is going from strength to strength, and finding the right workspace to match the WSL’s needs was crucial. It’s been a pleasure working closely with the team to provide a space that reflects their ambitions and values.”

Last month the organisation behind the top men’s league in the country, the Premier League, confirmed it had taken 73,000 square feet at One Olympia in the centre of London.

MetSpace manages more than 50 floors across prime Central London locations.
