UK property companies defy turbulence despite Brexit with a return of 30.6%

European listed real estate equities returned 29.7% in 2019, marking a phenomenal year for investors in the asset class, according to research by the European Public Real Estate Association. Data from the FTSE EPRA Nareit index family found that European LRE outperformed US LRE, which returned 26.8% in 2019, while Asia LRE posted an annual return of 19.3%.
