Wood Partners hire to lead Georgia growth; CenterSquare names new investment chiefs; Southern Land expands Texas team
National multifamily developer Wood Partners hired Marc Brambrut as a managing director in its Atlanta office, as the firm expands its presence throughout Georgia. Brambrut will oversee sourcing, financing and development of multifamily and mixed-use projects, with an emphasis on the metropolitan Atlanta region, the firm said.
Brambrut joined Wood Partners from Portman Residential, where he served as senior vice president of development. He held earlier senior roles at Fairfield Residential and Novare Group. Atlanta-based Wood Partners has offices in 17 major U.S. regions and owns more than 80 properties with about 25,000 residential units.
CenterSquare Investment Management named Dean Frankel and Robert Holuba as co-chief investment officers. The Conshohocken, Pennsylvania-based firm said both have spent much of their multi-decade careers at CenterSquare, with Frankel serving most recently as its global head of real estate securities and Holuba serving as managing director of private equity real estate. The two now share CIO duties formerly held by CenterSquare CEO E. Todd Briddell.
Nashville, Tennessee-based developer Southern Land Co. said it hired Lisa McDonnell as senior vice president and head of multifamily property management in the firm’s regional office in Plano, Texas. McDonnell joined the firm from Cushman & Wakefield, where she served most recently as executive managing director. She held prior roles at Westwood Residential Cos., JLB Partners, Marriott International and IHG.
New hires, promotions and other personnel changes
The trustee board of ICSC, the international trade group serving the shopping center industry, elected John Peter "JP" Suarez as the group’s chairman and Conor Flynn to serve as vice chairman for the 2026 term. Suarez previously served as Walmart’s international regional CEO among other executive roles with the global retailer. Flynn is the CEO of Kimco Realty, a large real estate investment trust focused on retail properties.
Washington, D.C.-based real estate investment management firm PRP Real Assets said it hired Scott Hahn as director of mission critical assets. Based in Los Angeles, Hahn joined PRP from Rising Realty Partners, where he served as vice president of industrial acquisitions. He held earlier positions at WeWork, Montana Avenue Capital Partners and CBRE.
Sauls Commercial Real Estate, a firm focused on self-storage properties in the Southeast, hired CJ Stratte as a senior associate as part of an expansion into Texas. Stratte, based near San Antonio, will lead advisory efforts for acquisitions, dispositions and development, the Carrollton, Georgia-based company said. Stratte is a third-generation,18-year storage industry veteran who previously served as president and CEO of On The Move.
Zach Sciscoe joined Cushman & Wakefield|The Lund Co. as an associate, as the brokerage expands its presence in its home base of Omaha, Nebraska. The firm said Sciscoe will focus on industrial property transactions. He has more than 25 years of industry experience, including owning and operating Berens Construction, a local property remodeling company.
Project engineering services provider Nelson-Rudie and Associates hired Melissa Kelley-Jones as vice president of marketing and business development. The Minneapolis-based company said Kelley-Jones will lead efforts tied to its expansion, including the recent opening of a satellite office in Hudson, Wisconsin, and Nelson-Rudie's planned 2026 debut of an office in Kansas City, Missouri. She held earlier roles at energy services firm Entegrity and Henderson Engineers.
