Apartment rent growth improves across San Diego

Concessions remain a fixture

San Diego’s apartment asking rents have been on the rise since the start of the year, with month-over-month rent growth measuring 0.4% in May. That was the strongest monthly rent growth in two years and has brought annual rent growth out of the red in the process. In the past 12 months, asking rents have advanced 0.3% to an average of $2,572 per month.
