A sharp slowdown in UK property investment driven by the Coronavirus pandemic is expected to last less than the two-year hit seen during the Global Financial Crisis, while the Covid-19 lockdown has accelerated structural change and increased focus on ESG among lenders, Savills highlighted today at its 32nd annual Financing Property presentation.
