Canary Wharf is proposing to drop consented plans to develop a 1m-sq-ft office tower at 1 Park Place, an 0.87-acre site adjoining its Docklands estate, in favour of a 60-storey, 700-home, build-to-rent skyscraper alongside 7,500 sq m (80,000 sq ft) of alternative uses.
