Portland-based Melvin Mark Investors acquired the historic Alderway Building in through an off-market deal arranged by Neville & Butler Commercial Real Estate. Originally built in 1911 as the Pantages Theater, the four-story Chicago-style building occupies the prominent corner of SW Alder and SW Broadway in downtown Portland. The building will undergo a full-scale redevelopment with the design handled by Hennebery Eddy Architects.
