Kroger to Develop 124,000-SF Marketplace in Portsmouth

13.5 Acres Bought at former I.C. Norcom High School Site

Kroger, an American grocery store chain headquartered in Cincinnati, purchased the former 13.511-acre I.C. High School site at Frederick Blvd. and Turnpike Rd. in Portsmouth Va., for $1.8 million, or about $135,000 per acre.
