Investec's plans to redevelop Manchester's House of Fraser department store at Deansgate’s iconic Kendal Milne building with 540,000 sq ft of offices have been amber-lighted by planners ahead of a committee meeting 3 June, the latest example of a famous UK retail flagship being repurposed with the local authority's blessing.
