The NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes have signed a long-term deal for the team's home ice in Raleigh, North Carolina, in an agreement that includes $300 million in stadium renovations and an $800 million commitment to develop what is being touted as a "transformational" sports and entertainment district around the arena.
