In a bid to significantly reduce its operating expenses while keeping its headquarters in New Jersey, hi-tech manufacturing giant Honeywell has agreed to buy a 40-acre site and office complex in Morris Plains, N.J., from Johnson & Johnson's McNeil-PPC to serve as its new global headquarters.
