Juniper Gardens Apartments Sell for $6.2M

Wakeland Housing and Development Acquires Multi-Family

4251-4259 Juniper Street in San Diego, CA sold for about $6.19 million, or approximately $147- per-square-foot. The property was acquired by Wakeland Housing and Development Corporation from Juniper Gardens Apartments LTD. According to Eric Comer of CBRE, "Juniper Gardens was an 'at risk' project with a HAP contract due to expire, which Wakeland Housing assumed and HUD will extend for another 20 years, providing work force housing in San Diego for years to come."
