KSL Buying Asheville's Historic Grove Park Inn

KSL Capital Partners, a Denver-based private equity investment firm targeting resort and leisure properties, is buying the historic Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa in Asheville, N.C., from an affiliate of Sammons Enterprises. The price for the 512-room property built in 1913 was not disclosed. The buyer plans to fund a $25 million renovation of the resort’s public areas, guest rooms, dining outlets, meeting spaces and spa.
