American Woodmark Closing Production Sites

The continuing housing slump has led to the decision by American Woodmark Corp. to reduce production capacity. The company will close a component facility in Hardy County, WV, and a lumber dimension operation in Hazard, KY. The company has also made the decision to offer the assembly plant in Tahlequah, OK, idled in early 2009, for sale.
