Cedar Fair Buys 62 Acres Next to Carowinds

Amusement Park Owner To Expand

Cedar Fair, the owner of amusement parks Carowinds and King’s Dominion, acquired 62 acres of adjacent land split along the North Carolina and South Carolina state line. Laminar Direct Capital Acquisitions 2, a subsidiary of D.E. Shaw, sold the raw site for $2.7 million in a cash deal.
