The Department of Veteran Affairs purchased the medical office building at 4251 Northern Ave in Kansas City, MO, from the MBS Mall Investor-98 LLC for $4,750,000. The sale included the 4.44 acre parcel of vacant land adjacent to the building. The property itself, sitting on 5.5 acres sold for $3,750,000 or $88.09 per square foot. The additional land parcel sold for $1,050,000 or $5.43 per square foot. The 42,000-square-foot building was constructed in 1997 and is in the East Jackson County submarket. The property was vacant at the time of sale.
