Following a two-year zoning and entitlement process, JBG Smith this week broke ground on Virginia Tech's $1 billion innovation campus in Alexandria, Virginia, a project that will serve as the centerpiece of a long-planned mixed-use district to be built around the future Potomac Yard Metro station.
