Piedmont Office Realty Trust, an office REIT, awarded Jones Lang LaSalle the leasing assignment for its 44-story, 973,000-square-foot office tower at 500 W. Monroe in Chicago, IL. An affiliate of Piedmont took over ownership of the skyscraper in March after former owner Broadway Partners went into foreclosure. JLL was the primary leasing company before the property was auctioned.
