A Dallas-area real estate developer is teaming up with Trez Capital, one of North America's largest nonbank lenders that has been seeking a home for capital, on a new 50-acre mixed-use project bringing apartments, retail space and office space to a municipality in Dallas-Fort Worth, the nation's fourth-largest metropolitan area with more than 7.7 million residents.
