Citadel Renews 222,416 SF in Downtown Chicago

Financial Firm Inks Long-Term Deal for HQ Space

Citadel LLC, a financial services provider, signed a long-term renewal for its headquarters in Chicago's Central Loop. The firm will take the top six floors of Citadel Center, which amounts to 222,416 square feet at 131 S. Dearborn St.

Developed in 2003, the 39-story, Class A office building totals 1.5 million square feet at the intersection of Dearborn and Adams streets. Aside from housing Citadel, other major tenants include JP Morgan Chase and three major law firms, according to CoStar information.

Brian Whiting of The Telos Group and Mark Baby of J.F. McKinny & Associates represented the building's owner, Dearborn Capital Group. Todd Lippman of CBRE Chicago, John Nugent and Andrew Sussman of CBRE New York represented Citadel.
