Zom Living Starts Construction on New 376-Multifamily Project in McKinney

First Units of The Kinstead to Deliver in Late 2018
October 3, 2017
Zom Living kicked off construction on its fifth multifamily project in the Dallas MSA and its 10th in Texas with the groundbreaking of Kinstead, a new 376-unit luxury apartment complex coming to the Dallas suburb of McKinney, TX.

The garden-style development will help meet demand for additional housing within the expanding Hwy. 121 corridor, which connects tenants to major area employers as well as the Fairview Town Center, Allen Premium Outlets and the Medical Center of McKinney.

Located at 1 McKinney Place Dr., the new community will offer one- to three-bedroom apartments, ranging from 700 to 1,200 square feet, in six three-story buildings. The first units are expected to be made available in the fourth quarter of 2018 with preleasing to commence next summer.

HP Architecture has been named project architect for Kinstead, while Stanford Construction will serve as general contractor. ZRS Management will handle property leasing and management. Texas Capital Bank provided construction financing.

An Orlando-based luxury multifamily developer with regional offices in South Florida, Texas, Washington, D.C. and Raleigh, Zom Living has developed more than 18,500 apartments nationwide and currently has 5,000 units in its development pipeline. Later this year, the company will break ground on a second project in the Dallas MSA with the construction of Atelier, a new 41-story high-rise to be developed in downtown Dallas' Arts District.
