WorkSpaces Signs First Lease at Former Wonder Bread Factory

Douglas Development To Complete Renovations of Office Bldg. By January 2013
June 20, 2012
WorkSpaces LLC leased 20,817 square feet at 641 S St. NW in Washington, DC. The strategic furniture solutions consulting agency will occupy the third floor of the historic Wonder Bread Factory once its redevelopment is completed next January.

Douglas Development purchased the former industrial building from Wonder Partnership in 1997 for $750,000. The company is renovating the 98,000-square-foot property with 24,000 square feet of retail space. The upgrades will include upper-level loft-like office space with industrial-style skylights, outdoor terrace space and lower level parking.

Jennifer Brody and Samuel Buckner of Cresa Partners represented WorkSpaces.
