$100 Million Office Tower to Add 350,000 SF to Cumberland/Galleria Area in Atlanta
Seven Oaks Co. of Atlanta is scheduled to begin work this quarter on Riverwood 200, a 15-story office building in Atlanta's Cumberland/Galleria submarket.
When completed in mid- to late-2009, it will be the first new Class A office building in Northwest Atlanta market in seven years.
The multi-tenant facility on Cumberland Blvd. will total 350,000 square feet. Owner GE Asset Management expects to spend $100 million on the project, which will include state-of-the-art building systems, a covered parking structure and 24-hour security.
The building joins the 23-story Riverwood 100 building in the Riverwood development, which is slated to include 1 million square feet of Class A office space, 90,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, a 175-room hotel and 425 residential units.
