Williams Co. Renews Space in Namesake Tower in Galleria

Gas Pipeline Company Commits to Long-Term Lease with Invesco
January 25, 2018
The Williams Co., a natural gas pipeline company based in Tulsa, OK, has renewed its 353,944-square-foot lease at the 64-story tower that bears its name in Houston's Galleria.

2800 Post Oak Blvd. was built and opened in 1983 as Transco Tower, with Transcontinental Gas Pipeline Co. as the lead tenant of the 1.5 million-square-foot high-rise. It was renamed Williams Tower after Williams acquired Transco Energy Co in 1995.

Ronnie Deyo and Beau Bellow of JLL represented Williams Co., while Dave Hanusa, Bonnie Kelley-Dienna and Jason Presley of CBRE represented the landlord, Invesco Real Estate.
