Merrillville, IN-based White Lodging Services Corp. purchased a 311-room hotel in Nashville from DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners. Marriott Nashville Vanderbilt sold for an undisclosed price.

Located at 2555 W. End Ave. adjacent to Vanderbilt University, the 11-story structure was built in 2001. The hotel will undergo a renovation of its restaurant, lounge and meeting space in the next year. The new owners will also add an M-Club Lounge, which is an exclusive VIP-style space designed for elite Marriott travelers.

White Lodging, a full-service investment firm that was launched in 1985, has a current portfolio exceeding $1 billion in revenue, according to its website. The firm purchased the former Rock City Machine Co. property in February 2012 in Nashville, where it planned a 13-story, 255-unit The Hyatt Place Hotel, which delivered in March 2013.

“We have been fortunate to establish a great partnership with Vanderbilt University over the last seven years and look forward to building upon that relationship in the future," said Deno Yiankes, president and chief executive officer of investments and development for White Lodging, in the firm’s press release.
