Westinghouse Electric Co. has begun construction on its fourth building at its office campus in Cranberry Woods, PA.
The three-story, 122,100-square-foot property is slated for completion in fall 2010, with a long-term lease to Westinghouse. It is expected to bring an additional 800 jobs to the area.
"This all is part of our overall growth," said Westinghouse spokesperson Vaughn Gilbert. "Building One at the Cranberry campus currently is occupied, and Buildings Two and Three will be filled by mid-2010, with a total of 3,200 employees."
In addition to the new construction, Westinghouse also recently leased 183,000 square feet
at 4000 & 5000 Marconi/Ericsson Drive in Warrendale.
Dan Adamski and Drew Saunders of Jones Lang LaSalle represented Westinghouse in these transactions. Ferchill in Cleveland is the owner/developer.
