Wake County Public School System Sells Former HQ for $6.8 Million

Local Government Federal Credit Union Buys 4-Story Office Building in Raleigh

Local Government Federal Credit Union, a North Carolina-based credit union for local government employees, purchased the office building at 3600 Wake Forest Rd. in Raleigh, NC from Wake County Public School System for $6.8 million.

The 98,875-square-foot building was constructed in 1968. It was vacant at the time of sale. The building will undergo renovations later this year and Local Government Federal Credit Union will occupy all four floors in early 2015.

Mike Morgan of JLL handled the deal for Local Government Federal Credit Union, while Betty Parker managed the sale internally for Wake County Public School System.
