David Valdez has joined DTZ, a global property services firm, as senior vice president in its New York Tri-State regional office located in Manhattan. In his new role, Valdez will develop new client accounts, advise tenants and landlords, and contribute to ongoing training and development of other DTZ employees.
Valdez previously served as a senior managing director at Colliers International in New York City. Before that he was vice president at Goldman Sachs where he co-managed the firm's leased and owned properties across the country, as well as holding positions at Edward S. Gordon Company and CBRE. He has become known as a specialist in leasing requirements for the non-profit sector.

Valdez holds a Master's degree in public administration from Syracuse University, and his bachelor's degree from Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA.
