Greenwich, CT-based Urstadt Biddle Properties (NYSE: UBA and UBP), a REIT with a nearly 4-million-square-foot portfolio of primarily retail properties, announced James R. Moore, executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of the company, is retiring, effective June 30, 2008. The REIT immediately named John Hayes, the company's current vice president and controller to take over for Moore effective July 1, 2008.
Moore has been with Urstadt since 1989 and will continue to serve in a consulting capacity through June 2010.
Hayes joined Urstadt in March 2007 after holding a position as corporate controller for a commercial Laundromat operator and serving as a CPA at New Yorkl accounting firm, PKF.
