The Carlton Group has hired Richard Travaglini as a director of leasing.
In his new role, Travaglini will mainly manage leasing at 600 Community Dr. in Manhasset, a 250,000-square-foot, 4-Star office building
on Long Island. The asset was previously leased to an international media conglomerate, coming to the market for the first time in 20 years. Travaglini will assist the multi-million dollar capital improvement program planned there, drawing on his experience in repositioning suburban office buildings.
"Rich will play an integral role in the leasing of Carlton’s portfolio, specifically 600 Community Drive," said Howard L. Michaels, chairman and founder of The Carlton Group. "He will be a vital member of the Carlton leasing and asset management team, and the Carlton Group as a whole."
Previously the director of leasing at Mack-Cali Realty Corp. in Edison, NJ, Travaglini was responsible for a portfolio of more than 3 million square feet of suburban office product. Before that he served as vice president of corporate real estate at URS Engineering.
Travaglini graduated with a bachelor's degree in architectural design from Clemson University, and is an active member of NAIOP, CORENet, and the Somerset County Business Partnership, in addition to serving as a little league coach for 18 years and sitting on the Bedminster Township Board of Adjustment.
