Transwestern Southwest named Robert Gaston executive vice president of the Central Texas region. He will oversee more than 150 professionals and a 16 million-square-foot
commercial real estate portfolio.
The firm recently reorganized its southwest territory, which includes offices in Austin, San Antonio and Corpus Christi, Houston, Denver, New Orleans and Salt Lake City. Gaston will support Kevin Roberts who was promoted last month to president of the seven territories.
Gaston spent the last six years as senior vice president and city leader for Transwestern’s Austin branch. Under his leadership the office grew to more than 8 million square feet of third party commercial property management and leasing.
Gaston is a 24-year industry veteran. Before Transwestern, he worked at Equity Office Properties Trust and Trammell Crow Co.
