Trammell Crow Acquires, Breaks Ground On 1.6M-SF Trammell Crow 35/Eagle Project

Teams Up With Prudential Real Estate Investors To Close On Spec Industrial Development
January 10, 2014
Los Angeles-based Trammell Crow Co. will undertake one of the largest speculative industrial projects in its history following the acquisition of a 314.4-acre site at the northwest corner of I-35W and Eagle Parkway in northeast Fort Worth, TX.

Construction on the 1.6 million-square-foot Trammell Crow 35/Eagle project is currently underway with a completion date set for 2014. A full build-out of the park will consist of more than 4.2 million square feet of office, retail and industrial space.

Proposals for the park include two industrial buildings totaling more than 1.5 million square feet of Class A space. Ownership will look to secure LEED® certification for both facilities.

Trammell Crow 35/Eagle is situated near the headquarters of BNSF Railway and the Alliance Airport, the world’s first 100% industrial airport designed for cargo and corporate aviation, with ingress and egress along I-35W.

Trammell Crow partnered with Prudential Real Estate Investors, the real estate investment management and advisory arm of Prudential Financial (NYSE:PRU), in the acquisition.
