Thalhimer Realty Partners Inc. recently closed on the purchase of Laurel Ridge Apts., a 160-unit multi-family property at 1100 N.C. Highway 54 W. Bypass in Chapel Hill, NC. An affilliate of QVT Mount Auburn sold the property for $11.6 million.
The buyer has named Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer to manage the property.
Built in 1972, and renovated in 2007, Laurel Ridge consists of one, two and three bedroom garden apartment units and townhouses averaging 998 square feet. The property is located near the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and its residents consist almost entirely of graduate school students.
