Ten Hudson Yards Earns LEED Platinum

Hudson Yards’ First Commercial Office Tower Receives Top Sustainability Designation
January 24, 2018
Related Companies and Oxford Properties Group earned the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Platinum certification for its 10 Hudson Yards office tower in Manhattan.

Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, the building was completed in 2016. The 52-story, 1.81 million-square-foot, 5-Star office tower is the first New York office property to receive the LEED Platinum certification since the LEED v.2009 rating system went into effect.

Sustainability features at the property include a storm water retention tank that will replenish cooling towers and irrigate terrace landscaping with rainwater, 100 percent raised floors, and 1.2-MW power generating gas-fired micro turbines.
