Studley continued to bolster its regional office, announcing its 11th and 12th new hires of 2012.
Gary Stein returned to Studley’s Washington, DC, office as an executive vice president and co-regional manager. Stein will continue to advise
commercial real estate tenants throughout the metropolitan area and will also counsel his clients on corporate real estate transactions throughout the country.
He rejoined the firm from the DC Cresa office that he opened in 2008 and oversaw as managing principal. Stein spent the first 16 years of his career as a tenant advisor at Studley.
Before joining Studley as a tenant advisor, Stein practiced real estate law with Shulman, Rogers, Gandal, Pordy & Ecker P.A. He holds a J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law and received a bachelor's degree from Tulane University.
Studley also announced that Jonathan Glass has rejoined its DC regional offices as a managing director.

Glass (left) was also previously with Cresa DC, where he spent nearly five years as a senior advisor. He currently serves as a real estate advisor to the Psychiatric Institute of Washington, Synergy Enterprises, Inc., the North American Electric Reliability Corp., Hollingsworth LLP and the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
Glass, who began his real estate career as an associate at Studley in 2007, will be assisting his clients with a full range of commercial real estate services, including complex lease renewal and restructuring agreements, strategic planning for lease and purchase transactions and integrating financial modeling into executable long term strategies.
He holds a B.A. in economics from Tufts University.
