Atlanta-based Carroll Organization made inroads in the state of North Carolina for the first time with the acquisition of the New Haven Apts. in Durham.
"This transaction represents the first of many new multifamily acquisitions we plan in the Raleigh/Durham market," said M. Patrick Carroll, Founder and CEO of Carroll Organization.
The 369-unit, garden-style residential community is located at 3001 New Haven Dr., adjacent to Research Triangle Park in the RTP/RDU submarket.
The community is composed of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units with fully-equipped kitchens, private patios, breakfast and computer nooks, fireplaces, built-in bookcases, outside attic or storage, and in some units, a washer and dryer.
On-site amenities include a dog park, resort-style swimming pool, fitness center, picnic and grilling areas, and a clubhouse with a full recreation room.
New Haven Apts. will be renamed ARIUM Research Triangle Park, in an effort to coincide with Carroll Organization's rebranding of its entire portfolio under the name Arium, a Carroll Community.
