Slalom Leases 64,956 SF in Chicago's AON Center

Consulting Company Signs 12-Year Deal at 83-Story East Loop Tower
July 3, 2018
Slalom, a Seattle-based consulting company with more than 170 partners including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft, has signed a 12-year lease for 64,956 square feet in the AON Center at 200 E. Randolph St. in Chicago.

The 601W Cos. out of New York City paid $712 million in October 2015 for the 83-story, 2.7 million-square-foot tower in the city's East Loop. The company recently kicked off a $25 million value-add program at the tower, which will include a new 34,000-square-foot amenity floor, dubbed the Cloud Level, on the 70th floor.

Additional upgrades will include a new two-story atrium in the lounge, billiards room, a fully operated bar, café, conference facility and 16,000-square-foot fitness center.

Slalom’s lease includes 32,478 square feet on each of the 37th and 38th floors. The company will join a tenant roster that includes Aon Corp., Kraft Heinz, Edelman, KPMG, JLL, DDB Worldwide Communications Group, Integrys Energy Services and Kempner Corp., which finalized a deal in March to relocate its headquarters from the company's namesake building at 1 E. Wacker Dr. to 65,000 square feet at the Aon Center.

Matthew Pistorio, Caroline Colnon and Stephen Smith of The Telos Group, in collaboration with and Mason Taylor of Jones Lang LaSalle, represented 601 W Companies.
